Put On the New Self

3 ^(A)If then you have been raised with Christ, seek ^(B)the things that are above, where Christ is, ^(C)seated at the right hand of God. ^2 (D)Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. ³ For ^(E)you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

²³ But he turned and said to Peter, ^(A)“Get behind me, Satan! You are ^(B)a hindrance^[a] to me. For you ^(C)are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

^19 (A)Their end is destruction, ^(B)their god is their belly, and ^(C)they glory in their shame, with ^(D)minds set on earthly things. ²⁰ But ^(E)our citizenship is in heaven, and ^(F)from it we ^(G)await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
